Krafty Kuts

Krafty's career began in the 1980s, when he reached the final of a DJ contest at the age of 17, ostensibly without ever having recorded records before. As a hip-hopand electroDJ, he developed his skills in scratching and mixing and also began to work on his own productions. In 1996, he was signed by FSUK, an offshoot of the well-known label Ministry of Sound, on which he released 3 EPs. The track Gimme the Funk on Fatboy Slim's label Southern Fried gained great fame among DJs. This success made Krafty Kuts a sought-after remix producer in the UK. He remixed for Jurassic 5, Utah Saints and Arthur Baker, among others. Numerous more singles and EPs followed, among others on the well-known breakbeatlabel Fingerlickin' Records. Krafty's music has been used for commercials by Coca-Cola and Playstation 2, as well as Guy Ritchie's film Mean Machine. In 2006 he released his first solo album Freakshow on Against The Grain. -Wikipedia Krafty Kuts website is really great. Check…

Zdar’s booking agent confirmed to The New York Times that the Cassius member died after accidentally falling through a window on a high floor of a building in Paris. Zdar (real name Philippe Cerboneschi) was best known for being one half of the electronic duo Cassius with Hubert “Boom Bass” Blanc-Francard. They started working together in 1988 and found success around the world in the 1990s and 2000s with their synth-pop singles. Jay-Z and Kanye West famously sampled Cassius’ song “I Love You So” on “Why I Love You,” a cut from the rappers’ 2011 joint album, Watch the Throne.

The Exit Festival

The festival was founded in 2000 in Novi Sad, Serbia as a student movement, fighting for democracy and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans. After the Yugoslavian general election in 2000, Exit moved from the city's university park to the Petrovaradin Fortress in the same city in 2001. Nonetheless, social responsibility is still key aspect of the festival activities. In February 2007, management of the festival has given away the festival to the ruling political party in Novi Sad, which gave away the political change and the questionable views, contrary to the movement upon which the festival was initially based upon. In 2007 Exit won the Best Overseas Festival award at the UK Festival Awards[4] and was voted Best European Festival at the Yourope Awards.[5] It won the Best Major Festival award at the European Festivals Awards in 2013[6] and 2017.
